Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, two frontrunners who have offered a number of progressive ideas throughout their campaign, were the primary targets of moderates on the stage Tuesday night. Warren took on former Rep. John Delaney by saying, "I don't understand why anybody goes to all the trouble of running... to talk about what we really can't do and shouldn't fight for." Author Marianne Williamson garnered applause with her comments on the water crisis in Flint, Mich., and her idea to offer federal money to the descendants of slaves as reparations. |
