Walmart will stop selling some ammunition and asks customers to avoid openly carrying guns in its stores

After a rash of mass shootings, including one at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, that left 22 people dead, Walmart will stop selling handgun and assault-style rifle ammunition. Walmart announced Tuesday that it would press for background checks legislation.
