Trump says he abruptly canceled retaliatory strike on Iran, saying it was not a proportionate response to drone attack

Trump said in a Friday morning tweet that "we were cocked and loaded" before he stopped the strike against Iran 10 minutes before launch. The attack would have served as retaliation for Iran shooting down a U.S. military drone on Thursday. However, Trump argued the attack was "not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone."
