California announces its first coronavirus death — the first outside of Washington state — bringing the US death toll to 11

An elderly man in Roseville, California, died Wednesday, health officials say. The man was likely exposed to the virus on a Princess cruise ship from San Francisco to Mexico, officials said in a statement.
