How Target, Walmart are staying staffed up

Target's employee turnover rate this year fell below pre-pandemic levels and rival Walmart hired about 200,000 new employees during the third quarter. Both retailers say they've been able to recruit and retain employees in a tight labor market with higher wages and such perks as flexible scheduling and bonuses at Target and tuition coverage at Walmart. N.Y. employers to disclose electronic monitoring A law going into effect on May 7, 2022, makes New York the third state to require private employers to notify employees of phone, email and internet usage monitoring.
