July 2nd, 2024 Dear CHAC Community, This Friday is 1st Friday in the 40 West Arts District! Our "Low Brow Art" exhibit will stay up through July, so if you missed this one of a kind and witty exhibit come on down this Friday to CHAC @ 40 West (7060 W. 16th Ave. Lakewood, CO 80214) from 5pm-9pm. This summer CHAC is inspired to bring you cultural art workshops at CHAC @ 40 West that give and your family ways to express themselves, celebrate each other and experience the joy of our creative heritage. ~Frida Kahlo Headbands July 13th @ 1pm $10 1st person ($5 additional) ~Ojos de Dios July 20th @ 1 pm $10 1st person ($5 additional) ~Mini Alebrije Workshop July 27th @ 1pm $15 a person ages 12+ CHAC was very honored to bring the community "Reflections of Culture" this Spring and work with the Women's Caucus for ART. There will be a FREE "Paint a Bird" workshop July 13th from 10 am-12 noon at CHAC @ 40 West for the community where people can paint a bird honoring victims of domestic violence. These birds will be apart of the Fly Free Installation and GET LOUD! art exhibit coming in October.
