Uncover subterranean secrets with London Transport Museum

Good news, tube aficionados — Hidden London tours are back! London Transport Museum has unveiled a fresh batch of these unique immersive experiences which give you exclusive access to closed-off and forgotten parts of the Underground.

From time capsule corridors, to original ticket offices, to disused platforms that have featured in more than a few blockbusters, there's plenty of history to dig into. And it's often located mere feet away from today's commuters — as you'll discover behind-the-scenes at bustling stations such as Euston, Clapham South and Charing Cross. Travel back in time to the birth of the tube network on a tour of one of its very first stations (Baker Street), see how Shepherd's Bush and Piccadilly Circus have changed since the early 20th century, and explore a legendary 'ghost station' as you venture into abandoned Aldwych.

Tours run on various dates, Wednesday-Sunday, and are suitable for over-14s. Whichever you opt for, you'll be in the expert hands of a London Transport Museum guide, who'll reveal little-known stories about London, its inhabitants, and the surprising ways in which the tube shaped the city's history along the way.
