The story is a deep look into the actions of two alleged spies working at Twitter — Ahmad Abouammo and Ali Alzabarah — whom the FBI claims accessed private Twitter information and passed it along to the Saudi Royal Family. They’re now indicted in US federal court.

Working on this story had me sitting back in my chair and saying “wow” over and over for the past six weeks (You can ask my editors). It features many twists and turns, including an escape from San Francisco, a fake invoice, a very expensive watch traveling across continents, and much more.
