Gov debate: Five major candidates for governor met last night in a debate that, interestingly, did not include the frontrunner. Sam Karlin and Tyler Bridges of our state politics team have all the details here. Mylar? No. Toilet paper? Yes: The city is reworking some of its Mardi Gras parade rules. Doug MacCash has the latest on what’s in, and what’s out. K-Paul’s question mark: The future of the former K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen looks uncertain again. K-Paul’s, long a New Orleans fav, closed during the pandemic. Another restaurant announced plans to open there. But now? Well, Ian McNulty fills us in. Jeff’s crystal ball: The Saints kick off the season Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. This, of course, is the time of the year for predictions. You might be interested in what columnist Jeff Duncan predicts. Splitting with the Panthers? Columnists, amirite? You want more Saints? (Rhetorical question!) Columnist Rod Walker has the latest on Jimmy Graham. Thanks for taking some time with us today. If you aren't a subscriber, here's a great deal! Cheers, Bob |
