Alison Dickens

You are warmly invited to a new talk by Alison Dickens, Senior Manager at the Cambridge Archaeological Unit (University of Cambridge) and has worked on the archaeology of Cambridge for over 25 years.
The talk will focus on the results from excavation in 2000 of a new sewer shaft, immediately opposite St Giles Church, where evidence of at least 2000 years of Cambridge¹s history was revealed in a hole just 3metres in diameter. With surprises from top to bottom, this really tells "The Story of Cambridge in One Hole”

The talk is on Thursday 9th March at 11 am at St Giles Church, Castle Street, Cambridge, with refreshments served from 10.30 am.
