Blessed are you, Lord God of the Universe, all things come from you and are woven through with the wonder of your beauty, so that we might be drawn ever more deeply ourselves into your presence. You have set this table before us so that we might celebrate even in this world the great feast of heaven and know your presence in our very lives through the sacrament of the Holy Communion. Bless now we pray this altar frontal newly refurbished as a sign of the splendour of that feast and of the beauty of your presence, to your glory and to the renewing refreshment of your people, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
