Thursday 12th May 2016 // 6:30-8:30pm How do we move from individually living out Christian values at work to embedding a Christian ethos right in the very heart of our companies? And how do we make sure that ethos really sticks, even in times of change and challenge? In order to answer those kinds of questions, the Jubilee Centre, Faith in Business (Ridley Hall) and LICC launched a year-long research project which engaged with eight UK companies – from a range of sectors and different parts of the country – to better understand exactly what makes a company ‘Christian’ and how that distinct Christian ethos is maintained over time. The research offers some intriguing findings and particularly shows the importance of relationships, both within organisations themselves and with external stakeholders. So we’ll kick off this event with a summary of the research discoveries, then go on to hear stories and practical examples from some of the companies involved, as well as opening up the floor for questions and discussion about your own organisational experiences with setting culture and ethos in the light of faith values. So if you’re a business owner, director or employee – and whether your company is well-established or just starting out – this event is for you. You’ll leave armed with new insights to help you review your goals, values and working practices and with new ideas to help you develop and sustain a Christian DNA.
