Taking Newton’s Principia and Darwin’s Origin of Species as a point of inspiration, I bring together the worlds of physics and biology through sculpture, drawings and video, while responding to the awe-inspiring architecture of Ely Cathedral. A site specific installation, produced in collaboration with Dr Francis Lister of Deep Science Ventures, will hang from the dome of Ely Cathedral. Motion, structure, form and scale are at the heart of ‘Bodies of Movement’. I aim to reconcile the very large and the very small, from single celled organisms to the motions of planetary bodies. This exhibition will highlight questions about an underlying code that connects all of us to each other and the cosmos. Private View - Friday 19th May, 6.30pm Exhibition runs - Friday 19th May - Sunday 18th June Ely Cathedral, Ely, Cambs, CB7 4DL.
