In|Vest 2019 welcomes Elizabeth Overbay from Goldman Sachs to the keynote line-up. Elizabeth is COO and CFO of the firm’s consumer business, including Marcus by Goldman Sachs and Clarity Money.

In yesterday's earnings call, Goldman Sachs CFO Stephen Scherr disclosed that the company is in the early stages of a wealth management offering for the mass affluent that will include both digital offerings and the ability to interact with human advisors.

The new platform will be housed within the Marcus division—which currently offers personal loans and high-yield savings accounts. Scherr said Monday that its strategy in the mass affluent wealth management business will be built around partnerships with employers, not dissimilar from the strategy that BlackRock is taking.
