Hi Poet!

By the time you read this newsletter, it will have been read by close to 40% of our list, including yourself. That's a satisfying score for a list of 28,000 subscribers.

A few months ago, we had 38,000 subscribers and an open rate of just 18%.

By removing subscribers that haven't opened our emails in the last 6 months, we were able to greatly improve our open rate. Moreover, spam filters like us better too because we send emails to engaged subscribers.

MailPoet will do this for you automatically from now on. The latest release includes a new feature called Stop sending to inactive subscribers.

You won't have to break a sweat or worry if it's configured correctly. MailPoet will just do it for you in the background without any fuss.

Not keen on the idea? No panic, it can be disabled in Settings > Advanced. Note that the option to disable it will be available next week. We're polishing the feature at the moment!

In the spirit of good sending practices, we have quite a few tips this month on how to be a good sender. Always keep learning!
