New details in disappearance, death in Baton Rouge

More details were revealed yesterday in the death of Nathan Millard, the Georgia man who vanished for more than a week during a trip to Baton Rouge and whose body was found Monday. 

The coroner's office said there was no sign of trauma on Millard's body, but did not yet have a cause of death. And police gave new information about how they have been able to track his movements the night he disappeared. 


Max Gruver's death at a fraternity party in 2017 reverberated through LSU and Louisiana, leading to criminal prosecution and tougher rules and new laws aimed at stopping hazing. 

But Gruver's family has been fighting in civil court too. Yesterday, a hearing in the last remaining lawsuit yielded dramatic testimony about the hazing that led to Gruver's death.
