Welcome to the Saints Insider newsletter for Thursday, Feb. 10. The Saints' search has concluded and now the real work begins for Dennis Allen. He has to assemble a staff and begin personnel evaluations in preparation for free agency and the NFL Draft. As Allen said Tuesday during his introductory press conference, there are going to be a lot of early mornings and late nights for him and his staff. We learned a lot about Allen and his coaching philosophy during his 33-minute press conference. Luke Johnson recaps some of the highlights and tells us what they mean for the Saints going forward.
