Dennis Allen isn't wasting any time in assembling his coaching staff

The Saints' search has concluded and now the real work begins for Dennis Allen. He has to assemble a staff and begin personnel evaluations in preparation for free agency and the NFL Draft. As Allen said Tuesday during his introductory press conference, there are going to be a lot of early mornings and late nights for him and his staff.

We learned a lot about Allen and his coaching philosophy during his 33-minute press conference. Luke Johnson recaps some of the highlights and tells us what they mean for the Saints going forward.

Allen has already identified a couple of coaches he'd like to add to his new staff, and they're a couple of familiar faces to Saints fans. My sourced report on the potential new coaches Allen is considering for his staff.

Not all the news has been good for Allen. He learned this week that star running back Alvin Kamara was arrested over the weekend in Las Vegas. Here's what NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said about situation from the Super Bowl in Los Angeles.
