Welcome back, New Orleans food fans! This week, we visit the renovated Audubon Clubhouse and talk to the well-known team behind the concept. Change has also come to the Metairie Italian landmark, Fausto's. A local distillery is closing, but not before it helps resettle its employees in other jobs. Bars in the French Quarter and Uptown rank among America's best. Our food writers picked 32 great local burgers; now it's your turn to vote in our burger poll. Finally, we pull up a recipe from our archives for an old New Orleans favorite: stuffed artichokes.

1. New and improved.

A revamp of the Audubon Clubhouse in Audubon Park is part of a larger deal the Dickie Brennan group made last year to take over catering and private event services across the Audubon Nature Institute. We got a look at the changes in the restaurant, and on the menu.

2. Bistro redo.

Regulars at Fausto's Bistro in Metairie told its new owners that the restaurant could be even better if it were a bit more spacious, a little quieter and had more parking. Well, two out of three ain’t bad.

3. Wait! There's more.

The Happy Raptor distillery is shutting down after just four years in business. Two well-loved local bars, Cure and Jewel of the South, have earned a national distinction. And vote for your favorite burger in our New Orleans' best burger poll!
