Let’s take a peek shall we? Securely share with others 🔐 Psst! Want to know my secret pumpkin pie recipe? It’s delicious but I can’t tell you directly over email as it wouldn’t be secure. So how can I safely share it with you? Thankfully you can now create a secure link to an item that only you and those you share the link with can see. It’s really cool how we keep your data secret and it’s super simple to use. I can now securely share my delectably scrumptious pumpkin pie recipe with you. I set this link to expire in 30 days and allowed it to be viewable by everyone. It will require purchasing a bigger belt! 😂 Masked emails 🎭 We’ve partnered with Fastmail (one of the few companies who champion privacy like we do) to bring you masked emails. These are great for protecting your privacy and giving you back control of your inbox. When creating an account, a masked email provides a unique address specifically for that site. This limits tracking and makes it easy to find and block those who share your email address (or a data breach). And best of all you can do all this directly from within 1Password. 🤘 See our Protect your privacy with 1Password and Fastmail announcement for more details. 1Password 8 for Windows 🥳 1Password 8 for Windows was officially launched yesterday! 🎉 We set out to create a modern experience with enhanced productivity and further push the security and privacy guarantees you’ve come to expect from us. And the team spoiled us by nailing all three. 😍 The modern design carries throughout the entire app & browser, and with Quick Access you can find any item you need, without ever needing to leave the app you were working in. I think you’ll love it. And we’ve heard from thousands of friends like you that dark mode is clutch so we made sure that the entire app looks gorgeous in dark mode, too. 😎 See our 1Password 8 for Windows is here! announcement for details and screenshots of all the new things. And since literally everything is new, I included over 80 stunning screenshots across dark and light modes. 🤯 Mac fans can get in on the fun by joining our early access now or waiting until the official release early next year (how can it nearly be 2022 already?!). And our Linux app is available now as well. 1Password 8 will require a subscription to our 1Password membership and will rely exclusively on 1Password.com (or .ca or .eu). If you are still using iCloud or Dropbox or WLAN Sync, now is a great time to migrate over your data so you’ll be ready for all the new releases.
