Stephen Mokoka ran to a record victory at the Cape Town Marathon, becoming the first South African to claim the laurel wreath since the re-launch in 2014.

A maiden (ODI) century by Hayley Matthews along with a half-century from Dinendra Dottin and 45 runs from captain Stefanie Taylor helped the hosts to the win.
