| The yearly UN Climate Conference (COP) is a big milestone for the future of our planet. Last year, we met in Glasgow and highlighted the urgency of adaptation funding. At NDF, we have worked hard towards this priority, by providing flexible and catalytic financing to adaptation and mitigation efforts in developing countries. We contribute to high-impact projects, helping millions of people to benefit from climate and disaster-resilience, adaptation solutions and access to clean energy. As we work towards COP27, which will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, and the global targets to achieve concrete results, it is important to remember - there is still hope. NDF will actively participate in events, discussions, and meetings in COP27. We continuously seek to broaden our horizons and create successful partnerships. We have pulled together a digital leaflet that sums up NDF's participation in COP27. In the leaflet, you'll find the agenda of NDF's participation, a comprehensive Q&A and who from NDF will be present at COP27. | |

| Why is NDF at COP27? COP27 convenes up to 200 delegations from across the world. In addition to the official negotiations the event is an important forum for the broad spectrum of leaders, institutions, organisations, activists and other stakeholders working to address climate change. This makes it an important event for NDF as a forum for outreach, partnership building and knowledge sharing. Through participation in various events, discussions, and meetings, NDF seeks to create visibility for its role as an action-oriented climate finance actor, providing financing for projects and investments with a focus on the nexus between climate change and development. In addition, NDF seeks to promote solutions for identified climate change and development challenges. In COP27 we showcase results of projects we have co-financed and discuss new initiatives with existing and new partners. We have gathered a Q&A, where NDF answers your questions about our participation. | |
