NBN Co recently said it could not deliver affordable gigabit broadband over fibre but apparently it can over cable! NBN Co says it is close to delivering gigabit speeds to homes and businesses in six cities, including Sydney and Melbourne, following trials of new technology on its hybrid fibre coaxial (HFC) network.
