In March of 2021 Michelle and I were living in Miami... One night we met Jason Capital and his girlfriend at Mr. Chow for a much-too-late-dinner. At one point I asked Jason a question ... and his answer has had a HUGE impact on my 2022... “JC,” I said, “who is the one person I’m not studying... that I should be?” “Probably Alex Hormozi,” he replied. I took JC’s advice... got connected… and had Alex on my podcast (which turned out to be my most popular YT video of 2021). After that, I saw Alex popping up everywhere. His $100 Million Offers book came out... And Alex started crushing it on every social media... (He also recently sold part of his 9-figure business for big bucks). Recently Alex Hormozi succeeded in getting me to do something NO ONE else has done... He’s gotten me to watch YouTube videos. Each morning I watch 10-15 minutes of his content... I’ve even built a spreadsheet with my BIG takeaways from each video. One of Alex’s videos covers the topic of decision making... And I shared that lesson in last week’s Epic Mastermind with our top clients as “Rule #3” of... The 5 Rules of Decision Making Rule #1: “If the Decision is Reversible, make the decision Quickly.” – James Clear Rule #2: “If the Decision is Irreversible, make the decision Slowly.” – James Clear Rule #3: “When you have to make very important decisions, make sure you are well-fed, well-rested, you have mental space, and that you are not in a state of scarcity.” – Alex Hormozi Rule #4: “Leaders are fast decision makers.” – Dan Kennedy Rule #5: “Leaders don’t have remorse about decisions… they make the decision and execute on it.” – Bedros Keuilian BTW... Not making a decision still means you’ve made a decision... But it probably means that you’ve made a bad decision. And if you’re not deciding... it means you’re likely doing the same old thing... … and we both know how the old adage goes: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” So BREAK that cycle this year! Stop ignoring important decisions that must be made. Apply these 5 Rules of Decision Making and pull the trigger… I promise you’ll start to make rapid progress when you do.
