Hey Guys! It feels amazing to be on the cover of Golf Digest. I saw an advance copy a couple days before I left for Asia, where I just kicked off a swing of four tournaments in a row in China, Korea, Malaysia and Japan. The Golf Digest editors and I did the shoot at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, NJ, which brought back good memories of winning my pro debut there this June. It’s wild to think about all the miles I’ve flown this year, but that’s part of learning to be a professional. The best can adapt to different climates, courses, crowd atmospheres, whatever comes their way. I haven’t been to China since I was 5, and so I’m also making the most of the opportunity to visit relatives and friends of our family. As you’ll gather from my cover story, my swing is built on smooth tempo and repeatable center-face contact, and I think I’ve put forward some tips that can help most golfers. I also spent the afternoon at The Whitney Museum in Manhattan with their profile writer, Elizabeth Nelson, who was a fun hang! Overall, I’m really pleased with the start to my professional career. In addition to the win at Liberty National, I finished inside the top 10 at three major championships and proudly represented Team USA at the Solheim Cup. I never thought I would be in this position so soon, and I’m blessed to be carrying out my dreams on the LPGA! To close out the season in December, I’m partnering with my friend Sahith Theegala (we share the same physical trainer) at the inaugural Grant Thornton Invitational mixed-team event. Wish us luck!
