Our coalition is building.   Dear John,   My campaign first requested Secret Service protection in May of 2023 with a 63-page declaration showing the many threats that have been made against me.   Despite filing five additional requests, all have been refused.   We are currently awaiting responses to our pending requests from both the Secret Service and the White House.   This marks the first time in 55 years that a presidential candidate’s request for protection has been denied.   It's unprecedented in history for a presidential candidate not to receive Secret Service coverage from the administration.   Think about that for a moment—it's a significant deviation from the norm.     Polls, a key factor in determining eligibility for Secret Service protection, show strong support for my campaign.   According to a New York Times/Siena Poll, I'm at 24% in battleground states. An NBC poll suggests 34% of Americans could see themselves voting for me, indicating a base of 50 million Americans rallying behind our vision.   Historically, presidential candidates received Secret Service protection well in advance of the election, regardless of political affiliation—Obama by the Bush Administration, Trump by Obama, and Biden by Trump.   The decision not to grant me Secret Service protection appears to be a strategic move to impact our campaign's momentum and resources.
