This year I’m celebrating my 25th year at the Forverts. I began as a reporter in 1998 when the office was still on East 33rd Street. (It’s a hotel now.) A lot has changed since I first arrived, but one thing remains the same:
Our commitment to sharing our rich Yiddish heritage.
The Forverts ensures that Yiddishkeit stays relevant and vital — now and for future generations. Not only do we have a 127-year Yiddish archive to draw from but we’re bringing you the mame-loshn on the web, with Yiddish Wordle and Yiddish Word of the Day videos to help you connect with and explore this vibrant, living language. |
