One of the most common questions I get from both readers and coaching clients is:
“What’s the best thing I can do right now to level up my business & income?”
This is a great question.
And while it’s true the specific answer may vary somewhat for each person and business…
There is ONE thing I believe will work for almost everybody.
Whether you’re struggling with lead generation…
Not getting enough buyers over the line…
Unsure how to launch a new product or service…
Or simply need to install better systems in your business so you can step away once in a while to preserve your health, relationships, and sanity.
Regardless of what your individual challenges are…
There’s one thing I suggest that’s practically guaranteed to grow your business, boost your income, and help you reach new levels of success that previously seemed impossible.
I know, because that’s EXACTLY what it did for me…
And I’ve also watched it work for thousands of friends & clients.
So what is my suggestion?
Get around people who are already at the level you want to be at.
Spend time — in person — talking to, learning from, and rubbing elbows with the people who’ve already “been there, done that” and achieved what you want to achieve.
I know that’s not an exciting answer.
Maybe it’s not what you were hoping to hear.
But it does work.
And it works more consistently and reliably than just about anything else.
For example, at our last Unstoppable Mastermind event in California…
I had at least a dozen attendees come up and tell me how much of a game changer it was just being around high-level people like Sharran Srivatsaa, Jason Capital, and Frank Den Blanken.
Why?
Because when they got to hear the way those guys talk about business…
How their brains work…
And the way they analyze, prepare for, and execute on opportunities…
It completely changed their understanding of what’s possible.
It showed our attendees they’d been playing small…
And that in order to reach new levels of success in their own business…
It was going to require a whole new level of thinking.
Which is something they would have never understood if they hadn’t been there to experience it.
That’s why I believe seeking out opportunities to be around people who are playing a level (or several levels) above you is one of the best things you can do.
When I first started going to masterminds and live events back in 2006…
I was finally able to see, firsthand, what it took to build a multimillion dollar business.
Not only did I get strategies and tools to help me…
Despite my introverted tendencies, I also got on a first name basis with people who were already earning 7 and 8-figures.
“Making millions” started to feel more normal, more attainable to me…
Rather than some lofty goal.
Not surprisingly, my business grew rapidly.
And 18 months later I became a millionaire.
Would I have reached the same level of success without the knowledge, mindset, and connections I gained from all those in-person events?
Hard to say for sure, but I doubt it.
The one thing I am sure of though, is that it would’ve taken me at least 10x longer.
If I ever even got there at all.
That’s why, if I could give you one piece of advice that will help you grow your business faster and make more money than you ever imagined…
I’d tell you to do everything you can to get in rooms with people who are playing the game at a higher level than you are.
