Head there after hours for craft workshops, curator-led talks and panel discussions inspired by women's experiences of living and travelling in the capital. Museum Late: Women on the Move explores stories of women past and present — from the first London transport workers to disrupt a male-dominated industry, to the women artists and designers making their mark on the network today. You'll also have the chance to explore London Transport Museum's newly-opened Global Poster Gallery, which boasts works by the likes of Anna Katrina Zinkeisen and Dora M Batty, away from the daytime crowds. As it's a Friday, you might want to take advantage of the well-stocked bar. There's even the chance to play at being a train driver on an Elizabeth line simulator — the pub can't compete with that.
