And of some have compassion, making a difference. Jude 1:22
Calls for help continue to come in. This will only increase as the weather turns colder. Last year we saw 315 different men and women utilize Coldest Nights shelters during the winter season. We normally average 2100 nightly stays per season but due to Covid we saw a total of 5,273 nightly stays. We are not certain what this season will bring but by God’s grace and your help, we will be there, and we will be ready.
Last year, your gifts provided the following:
laundry service for clean sheets and blankets
new blankets to replace those that were old and worn out
cleaning supplies to help with hygiene in the living areas
Please consider making a monthly gift to Murfreesboro Rescue Mission to help our homeless as they struggle this season and gifts toward a permanent shelter to help with year-round care. Thank you for showing compassion that makes a difference.
Special note: ** starting now through the end of November, each gift given will count as a one for one match up to 10,000.
