MPR News Update PM Edition: Minnesota lawmaker says sexual harassment pervasive at Capitol; 14-year-old shot on northern Wisconsin reservation

DFL state Rep. Erin Maye Quade of Apple Valley, who on Wednesday leveled allegations against state Sen. Dan Schoen, said Thursday that there's a sexual harassment culture at the Legislature.

Holly Gauthier said authorities have provided few details about the death of her son, 14-year-old Jason Pero, an 8th grader who died on the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa's reservation Wednesday.

According to Eagle Lake, Minn., police, one of the kids reported the man following slowly in his car. Another said the man dropped cash and ordered the student into his vehicle.
