| Hello. Just hours before talks which could determine Ukraine's future began, it appears that Moscow was hit by the largest drone attack Kyiv has launched since the beginning of the war. We also report from Santa Fe where the death of actor Gene Hackman and his wife have shed a light on the grim realities of Alzheimer's disease. And in the UK, we have pictures from the King and Princess of Wales's return to an annual church service that they were both forced to miss last year due to cancer treatment. | |

TOP OF THE AGENDA | Moscow hit by 'massive' drone attack, ahead of US-Ukraine peace talks |
|
| | The drone attack appears to be the largest that Ukraine has launched so far. Credit: EPA | At least two people have been killed and three injured in what is thought to be the largest drone attack that Ukraine has launched so far in and around Moscow, according to Russian officials. Ukraine has not commented, but regional authorities report that it also suffered strikes from Russia overnight. Talks between Ukrainian and US officials on ending the war have just begun in Saudi Arabia, but our Russia editor Steve Rosenberg says there is no sign Moscow will compromise. Military chiefs from around 30 countries are due to meet in Paris today to draw up plans for the "coalition of the willing" to help Ukraine. |

BEYOND THE HEADLINES | How Alzheimer's left Gene Hackman alone in his final days |
|
| | | Gene Hackman won two Oscars and was nominated for another three. Credit: Getty Images | The final days of Hollywood star Gene Hackman's life may have felt to him as if he were "living in a reel", with his advanced Alzheimer's potentially causing him to "live through" the same feelings and actions over and over again - such as repeatedly finding his wife dead, a dementia expert has told the BBC. The startling details of Hackman living in the home for a week with Betsy Arakawa's body have shone a light on the grim realities of dementia. "It breaks my heart he was alone so long," one neighbour said. |
