The open of the year is still 5949.25 (H25) and the open of the month is still 5898.75 (M25), and the open of the week is 6001.00 (U25).
Volume in overnight futures show a lean to the September contract this morning. September ended up having more volume than the June contract yesterday, but it did not start that way. The volume in the June contract will start to fade even more until expiration on Friday morning.
Tomorrow is the FOMC day, and that will be followed by a holiday on Thursday, which is in turn followed by expiration day on Friday. It seems like a lot because it is.
