If not, you aren't alone. On July 2, Michigan's new automotive insurance law goes into place. For the first time, it allows Michigan drivers to decide on their level of personal injury protection coverage. It also triggers mandated average reductions in costs associated with that coverage. On Monday, tents and RVs were allowed to return as the park campgrounds reopened. We checked out the popular RV camping lot at Holland State Park, with spots just feet from Lake Michigan. Clearly, some Michigan residents were ready for a stay at the park, as the RV area was mostly full before the end of its first day of the season.
