They would be among the 2.7% of adults who are immunocompromised, a condition that puts them at higher risk of contracting the virus and developing severe symptoms. Federal agencies signed off in mid-January on allowing the fourth shots, and those eligible can can obtain them at pharmacies and other health-care providers offering COVID vaccines.
