How one Michigan city plans to cut train-related traffic delays |
What's the problem? Points where railroad tracks intersect with roads can cause blocks in vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The Federal Railroad Administration announced a $570 million grant to fund the removals across 32 states, including two in Michigan. Drivers, beware: For those planning to travel this weekend, there are more than 68 new projects or special events that will result in lane closures throughout the state. Here's a look at some of the significant projects to account for this weekend. |
