Here are all the proposals vying to get on the ballot this year A number of proposals that would change a range of laws related to voting rights, abortion access, the state’s minimum wage and more could make their way onto your ballot this fall. Some ballot committees that filed proposals to the Secretary of State have been collecting signatures to get on the November 2022 ballot since last year. Others still need state approval from the Michigan Board of State Canvassers. The ballot committees are made up of political consultants, lawyers, circulators and citizens pushing to change a law, make a constitutional amendment or repeal measures through a referendum. Joseph Morrison, Pete Musico and Paul Bellar will appear before Jackson Circuit Judge Thomas Wilson today to continue a hearing on an entrapment motion. The three men are accused in a plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer ahead of the 2020 election. Each man faces one felony charge of providing materials to support terrorist acts, attempting to commit felony as an associate or member of gang and felony firearms. The star sophomore guard carried the Hawkeyes to a 104-80 victory in front of a sold-out crowd. Michigan's Naz Hillmon, the preseason co-Big Ten Player of the Year with Clark, led the Wolverines with 18 points and 15 rebounds. She becomes the first Michigan basketball player, male or female, to record 2,000 career points and 1,000 rebounds.
