‘Back-stage pass to the greatest rock and roll show in the world’
One reason why Ohio and the nation has embraced the Dayton Air Show for 50 years is the vivid coverage of the event summer after summer by dozens of writers, photographers and broadcasters, many of whom came from across the world to cover the show.

Air show security an important part of annual Dayton event
“We do a lot of planning, and we make sure we have plenty of law enforcement here, but — knock on wood — we’ve had very few incidents where they needed to be here, but we have them if we need them,” says Mike Etter, security director for the CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show.

Technical error in Ohio funding formula means some schools were overpaid
State officials say instead of asking for schools to return funding, General Assembly is considering a technical amendment.
