Get ready for our first stretch of 90-degree days

Heating up around here: We're in the middle of a warming trend that will bring hotter temperatures to many parts of the state. Thursday will probably be the hottest day with many Lower Michigan cities warming to at least 90 degrees.Here are the high temperature forecasts for this coming Tuesday to Saturday.

Tigers’ magic runs out in listless loss to Rangers

Coming off dramatic late-inning victories that brought them to the brink of .500, the Tigers med to a 5-0 loss to the Texas Rangers in the series opener on Memorial Day afternoon at Comerica Park. 

 

Spartan news: Michigan State baseball advanced deeper into the postseason than it has in seven years, but its season ended late Friday night in Omaha.

 

More baseball news: Following a rough series on the other side of the state, the West Michigan Whitecaps came home to LMCU Ballpark to meet another tough opponent from the Midwest League East, the Lake County Captains, the High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians.
