Explore Michigan this fall

There's still plenty of time to add a few destinations to your fall travel list. If you need a little inspiration, check out Houghton. The historic mining town in the Upper Peninsula was just named one of the top hidden gems in the U.S. by Trips to Discover.

While heading up north, try Mackinac’s Island House Hotel. This iconic spot is offering a Fall Getaway package with ferry tickets.

Don't forget safety guidelines as you embark on your next adventure. Michigan State Police is reminding residents to be mindful of terrain changes after a barefoot woman got lost in a southern Sanborn Township swamp trying to find her dog.
