Home is where the kitchen urinals are? OK, I immediately apologize for this. |
Some real estate listings just write themselves. Like the listing for this house in Ferndale. Designed as a bachelor pad, the owner decided to install urinals in the kitchen. Yeah, it's a new one for me too. That is really a new one.
The property, listed at $165,000, also includes a Detroit Lions-themed basketball court and a hand-painted tiger print wall in one of the bedrooms. But nothing will ever be as interesting as that odd decision for the kitchen. You have to see it.

| Here's how income differs by education, sex and where you live in Michigan. |
Looking at pay for Michigan workers:The median Michigan worker age 25 and older makes $43,495 per year. But depending on where you live, your education level and other factors, the median income for your demographic group could be quite different.
Highest and lowest pay by county: Yes, where you live really does make a difference for pay. For example, the median income for a worker in Oakland County — which has the highest median income — is $58,829. If you look at the lowest median income for a county, you'll find Van Buren County at $37,472.

A sensitive subject: Detroit Tigers president of baseball operations Scott Harris has tread carefully when talking about an issue that arouses strong opinions on both sides: Should the Tigers move in the fences at Comerica Park for the second time since the stadium opened in 2000?
Where does it stand right now? Most hitters and many fans would label it a pitchers’ park without hesitation. But Comerica Park is far closer to neutral than most give it credit for. The Park Factor for 2020-2022 says Comerica is a pitchers’ park, but only slightly.
