There are three easy ways to make luscious filled cupcakes. Bake ordinary cupcakes and then fill them. 1. Fill them with Bavarian Cream or another pastry filling. This is a snip, stick, and squeeze operation like in the image here. Maybe it takes 5 seconds each. Scroll down on the linked page for the how-to video.Get the Bavarian cream for $2 per pound. (You can't buy the cream and eggs and make it yourself for that! 2. Use a pastry bag. Same operation as above but instead of using a pre-made filling, make your own filling or whipped cream and fill a pastry bag. The video in the link above will show you. Tip. Use a giant pastry bag so that you can bag once and fill all your cupcakes in one operation.
3. Fill them with ice cream. Use a cupcake corer to cut a quick core from each cupcake. Use the corer to cut plugs from a hard block of ice cream. Push the plunger to load the plugs in the cupcakes. Frost and serve.
