Make a shepherd's pie with your leftover potatoes, gravy, and turkey!
Here's a great way to use those leftovers. Usually, a shepherd's pie is made with burger and a tomato base but try it with turkey and gravy.
- Saute an onion in a heavy, oven-proof skillet. Add turkey cut into chunks.
- Add some veggies. Peas or corn are typical.
- Add gravy, enough to make the mixture the way you like it.
- Cover with mashed potatoes. Top with grated cheese and a sprinkle of paprika.
Bake at 350 degrees until heated through and the cheese is melted. Times will vary with the pan and the size of casserole.
Add a salad and maybe a side dish and you have a meal.
