More arrests in fatal drive-by shooting

BY DOUG GRAHAM | Staff writer

Baton Rouge police are having positive results in their investigation into a drive-by shooting the day before Thanksgiving that killed an 8-year-old boy and sent two of his siblings to the hospital. One suspect was apprehended Tuesday, and authorities on Friday announced two more arrests. One more wanted person is still on the run. The car allegedly used in the attack also has been recovered and is being examined for evidence.

The investigation has led to searches at multiple addresses while seeking the suspects, according to Police Chief Thomas Morse. He said the four suspects in the case are believed to have ties to one of the city's "violent street groups."
