Watermelon Stone Paperweights - finished watermelon stonesI made these stone paperweights to hold our napkins down for when we eat outside during our summer barbecues. To make them, you just need stones that are triangular or oval in shape, then paint them as if they are wedges of watermelon, or the whole darn fruit. Don't they look delicious?

Storage For Paint Brushes

A pool noodle with slits to hold brushes.Cut a piece of a pool noodle to your desired length. Put slits in the noodle only halfway through. Make as many as you will need. Insert your art tools; such as paint brushes, scissors, or what ever you need to store. Hang it up, if you like.
