Boone Hall protected by conservation easement

Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens has been protected by a conservation easement that closed last week, meaning from now on the property can only be used for agriculture, education and tourism. The value of the conservation easement is more than $28.1 million, according to Lowcountry Land Trust.
