| | | | Key figure of the day | Matej Mohoric's win in Le Creusot has been claimed after a 209 km breakaway. As a first step, he was escaped along with 28 other riders, before he achieved to go solo in the final. The last time a rider won a Tour stage after a 200km+ breakaway? Michael Rogers, winner in Bagnères-de-Luchon in 2014, after having been part of a 208 km breakaway. He was a member of a group of 21 riders he managed to drop in the final.
