Good morning, Marketer, and Microsoft is starting with the enterprise. At least, thatâs how it looks from the launch of Microsoft Customer Experience Platform last week and now todayâs news that connects Demandbase data with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, the Microsoft CDP. The names of early adopters for the CX platform included consumer brands with tens of millions of customers. That means generation, not just insights, but insights at astonishing scale. The scale of B2B marketing is certainly much smaller, but one thing Demandbase has been clear about over the years is that its sweet spot is the Fortune 500. Will Microsoftâs offerings be of interest to SMBs? Is it going to work down from the enterprise level, rather as HuBSpot started with SMBs and worked up to the enterprise? Time will tell.
