Nov. 15, 2019 Back to normal temps this weekend. Saturday highs will reach 40 degrees or higher across most of western, central and southern Minnesota. Sunday will be a bit colder, with the upper 30s for the southern half of the state, and lower 30s in northern Minnesota. A mix of rain and snow is expected in most parts of Minnesota Saturday night. Impeachment hearing Day Two: Ambassador Yovanovitch said President Trump's comments that things might "happen to her" felt like a "threat." During the testimony, Trump posted two tweets denying he was trying to intimidate her in the July call. A kitten that bit 3 people in western Minnesota tested positive for rabies. The kitten apparently was infected after being attacked and bitten by a skunk last month on a farm in Otter Tail County. State officials encourage people to vaccinate all dogs, cats, ferrets and horses against the rabies virus and keep them up to date. Minnesota nonprofits and schools raised a record-breaking amount on Give to the Max Day. They raised more than $21.6 million in the 24-hour event. The previous record was $21 million in 2018.
