This is a cheap, fun craft that makes a cute gift for little ones 4+. When I was little, my elementary school class made these for Christmas. I hardly remember a thing from elementary school, but this must have been super special because the happy memory stuck!

I love making yo yos while watching TV. They are a great way of using up fabric scraps or can be made from fabric purchased especially for your yo yo craft project. I decided to use some left over yo yos from my Christmas garland to begin this project.

French Macaron Cookie Ornaments
By attosa
I think French macaron cookies are so incredibly cute. I love their soft curves, vivid colours, and matching filling. I have yet to make the actual cookies from scratch, but I've gone ahead and jumped the gun with these ornaments.

Begin The New Year with Something You Love
By sharon6345
Many people make New Years promises, as I call them, only to find them failed by the next few months. I don't do those for one reason. Many promises begin with the promise to fail. I started learning that you have to find something you love in order to make it with joy.

There are lots of ways to make a bird feeder, but I think this is one of the easiest and most fun to make. It is an excellent craft for children to do because the end product looks good with only a minimal amount of skill needed.

This craft turned out to be one of my favorites! It is perfect for kids to do on homemade gift tags, Christmas cards, or even just for fun. The sleigh and reindeer are easy to create using only fingerprints and paint. Younger children will need assistance drawing in some of the details.

Gold Painted Branch Christmas Tree
By katrine2706
I love Christmas, everybody loves Christmas, but I don't always want to spend a lot for decorations especially with the Christmas tree. I don't want to buy the big ones that end up getting thrown away, since our place gets flooded every year and it feels like I have thrown away my money then.
