It's time for our Midseason Awards and Brady Quinn is thinking outside the box. Brady says for Coach of the Year he's picking a guy who's only won three of them despite going to the Super Bowl every other year. I think Jimmy G is a good MVP play at 30-1, Ryan Wilson has thoughts on the Super Bowl champ and my hair style, and you can also check out all the CBS Sports writers' picks and much more. |

As usual with Jason Garrett, he's figured out a way to douse the blazing hot seat beneath him with ice water. Garrett's No. 12 on Patrik Walker's list of coaching hot seats (Patrik uses the military's DEFCON readiness scale to rank them). Zac Taylor, who sits 0-8 and just benched his QB, is in the top 5, and check out who's in 'DEFCON 2: Mobilize the forces.' |

The weather's getting cooler, which means Pete Prisco must be heating up. Pete went 13-2 straight up last week, and now he's ready to get his ATS game going, too, by backing the Vikings and Cowboys, who'll cover on the road. Pete also says the Pats will cover against the Ravens, and check out what happens when the Raiders finally go home. |

This might come as a slight shock to the Bengals and Dolphins, but all 32 teams are currently still alive for a playoff spot. John Breech used data from number-cruncher Stephen Oh's computer to break down every team's postseason chances. It's not good news for Eagles and Rams fans, and the computer almost exploded to figure out the final NFC wild card spot. |

Jason La Canfora had low expectations for the Bengals at the trade deadline, and somehow they DID EVEN WORSE. The 0-8 team that could've dominated with deals for a badly needed rebuild not only did nothing, it did it in spectacular fashion. Cincy benched Andy Dalton too late (and on his birthday), and get a load of who went on trade deadline vacation. |

What am I missing here? The Raiders are 29th in pass DVOA and the Lions aren't even trying to run the ball. I'll take the better QB and the two points with Detroit, and give me the Bucs plus-6.5 in Seattle (Bruce Arians OWNS the Seahawks). I'll also back the Browns in the Myles Garrett-Garrett Boles matchup, and here's the weird thing that'll happen in London. |

The three primetime games this week all feature road favorites, so what does that mean for bettors? R.J. White dug into the data and says home teams have covered in just nine of the 25 primetime games this year, and there's a lot more you'll want to hear before picking a side. R.J. also breaks down fading the public, big line moves (is Joe Flacco worth only this much?) and more. |
